Announcing Summer League 2017

When/where: Summer League will be Wednesday evenings at 6:30, beginning June 21st and ending August 9th.

Here are the locations:

The schedule will be sent out to team captains after registration.

Registration: Select whether you are registering as a Team Captain or Team Player (NOTE: The team captain must register first. Once the captain has registered, all other players may register for the existing team).

Team Captain: You are registering as the captain of an entire team. Captains must register first, and all of your teammates must indicate that you are their team captain during the registration process.
Team Player: You are registering to play for an existing team as a team member. [NOTE: it will not indicate that you need to pay your registration fee, but you do.] Select your team captain’s name from the dropdown list during the registration process. If your team captain has not yet registered, you will not be able to complete the registration process. The team captain must register first.

Teams: The above fields will accommodate 20 teams, including one free agent team. Team spots are given on a first come, first served basis. If/when the team limit is reached we will begin a waitlist for additional teams.

Free agency: There will be a free agent team – register for summer league as a free agent and we will create it. Please let us know if you want to be a free agent CAPTAIN!

Format: We will be asking captains to rank their team’s overall skill and we will schedule based off of that. Captains will be contacted about this after registration. The free agent team will be given an average seeding.

Cost/Registration: Registration is per player. It is $50 per person. Your team captain will register first to create the team, and additional players will join and pay. You may have as many players as you wish, BUT THERE IS A 14 PLAYER MINIMUM [at least 5 women]. If you cannot make this minimum by Friday, 6/16/2017, a waitlisted team will take its place. Additionally, the cost for registration will go up to $60 per player on that same day, so let your teammates know to sign up early.

Alcohol policy: Alcohol is permitted at all fields. However, moderation is key. Additionally, please adhere to all local and state laws where alcohol and cannabis is concerned. It is illegal to smoke *anything* within Portland Parks & Rec parks.
