In order to pursue the below listed goals the Board of Portland Ultimate has established the following Eligibility Requirements:
- Encourage the establishment of new teams.
- Promote more balanced and competitive games.
- Increase the participation of female and underrepresented groups.
2. Play with your school
If the school a player attends has a team, that player must play on the school’s team. If the player’s school does not have a team, then they may petition the Youth Director (YD) to play on a specific team. The YD will take into consideration the player’s desire as well as the needs of Portland Ultimate and the youth leagues.
3. Playing at Age Level
Players are expected to join teams at their age level. Players may petition the YD to play “up”. The YD will take into consideration the player’s desire as well as the needs of Portland Ultimate and the youth leagues.
4. Minimum team requirements
In order to form a team, a certain number of players must register before the event registration deadline elapses.

To apply for an exemption to these eligibility requirements, fill out a Player Eligibility Exemption Form. Convenience or to obtain a desired athletic outcome are not valid considerations for an exemption.
In the event that these eligibility requirements have not been met, all games in which an ineligible player participants will be forfeit.
