Women's Events

PUFF knows women’s ultimate is a much different game than mixed, so we work hard to provide plenty of opportunities for women of all skill levels to play womens-only ultimate. Click on the headers for current information about the following events. Indoor Women’s Pick-Up (January through mid-March)
Not everyone loves playing ultimate outside in the rainy, cold, Portland winter, and that’s why we created indoor pick-up. The details: played four-on-four in on a full-size basketball court, indoor ultimate is a fast-paced, make-it-take-it game that does not slow down. Subs are tagged in on the fly, and the stall count is to five.
BOOTY (Bring Our Own Teams – Yay!) (March 23)
BOOTY is a one-day women-only tournament on March 23 at Lents Park. Anyone may (and is encouraged to) put together and register their own team. This is a great chance for local ladies to play with their friends, and also for college teams to compete against club players. Join the fun!
Women's clinics have something to offer for players of every skill level. Past topics include: hucking, breaking the mark, laying out, the mental game, the basics of throwing, marking, defensive positioning, handler movement, and oh so much more...
Women’s Summer League (July & August)
THIS is the perfect place to get your summer dose of women’s ultimate. Coached by experienced local players, Women’s League is based on cohesive team practice and game play. PUFF is constantly striving to meet the needs of players of all skill levels, and for that reason the format of Women’s League has evolved since the inception of the league three years ago. For the latest information about Women’s League please visit the Leagues page.
